Step With It encourages students to get moving by recording at least 10,000 steps a day. Any physical activity can be converted to steps, so any activity counts toward the goal. Students use a special Stepometer™ available through the Live It! Go for the Red, White and Blue program to easily record all their movements as steps.
And every challenge has its rewards! Students don’t have to stop at the 10,000-step daily goal of Step With It. Girls who achieve 11,000 steps daily and boys who reach 13,000 steps daily — five days a week for six straight weeks — qualify for the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award from The President’s Challenge, a program of The President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
